Natural childhood

  1. I just thought I'd put what appears to be the first comment on here.
It's a very simple comment and not necessarily about 'natural' childhood (what is natural anymore I ask myself..?).
My 6yo grandson Aneurin was playing boxing on the Wii when he was heard to utter "the boys haven't got tops on but the girls have got to". I asked him, "well why do girls have to wear them then?"
His answer? "Because girls are precious!!" 😄
    The innocence of kids eh?

  2. Childhood is definitely too short nowadays, children do not seem to play with dolls, farmyard animals, bricks, or outdoor activities like making mud pies its all computer games and gadgets. Its really a shame as I can remember being so young and innocent, with the only violence in my life being the news at 6 pm or "Man from Uncle".

  4. My childhood was wandering through orchards ,climbing trees, making dens and only going home at mealtimes- tv was only available at certain times during the day and didnt really interest me .No computers and no videos existed and yet I was never ever bored!
