Woodland Walk

This week I went on a woodland walk and nearly fell 20 ft down a muddy bank while taking a picture!

This is around the village where I live,  recently of date I have been doubting my photography skills , I am not sure why?

Perhaps its that Winter lull , after all it seems to take forever to get over Christmas !

I hope you see something here that you like and may inspire you ..

  11. Nature photography doesn't have to be an extreme sport! These photos make me want to put on my boots and go tramping in the woods with my camera.

  15. Don't doubt yourself these are great photos. Winter time after a while in itself can be fairly uninspiring, we all just need to look at things with a different perspective I think and you will find lots of things to take photos of then.

  16. nothing wrong with your photography skills. Yes people drop out of 365 about now as the world is dull and grey and nothing great to take pics of, unless you fall down 20 fy embankements there may be something at the bottom to take a pic off!!! Numpty :)

  18. The lengths we go to for a good photograph, hope you were ok! Lovely wintery shots, all very mysterious looking - I love that about woodlands. Looking forward to next weeks pics!

  19. Beautiful. I especially love that second photo with the path. Makes me want to go explore and see what's down there.

Doubting your skills is a big step towards becoming really good. Don't worry! It means you're developing your eye, and always seems to come right before a big leap in quality. You're shots are lovely already, so I bet we're going to see some great things here soon!

  20. OK the 2nd has to be my fave, I love the clarity and bleakness in it. As for falling 20ft down - please don't! Scary
