kinesthetic Learners ( Learning through play )

Social skills can hard to fathom for an autistic child and couple with language problems and you have a right mixed bag.  Instructions can be near on impossible for an SEN child to follow as they sometimes struggle to break free from the parameters of their special need.

You can expand their social understanding in a number of ways:

Lead an instruction by starting with their name but if they say"no" then again start with their name and say please.

I love kinesthetic learning as well which is learning through play.

Kinesthetic learner learn best by moving their bodies activating their small or large muscles as they learn. These are the hands on kinesthetic or the "doers" These sort of learner actually concentrate better when movement is evolved such as playing with a ball or writing their name in the sand.
