Don't you just love the quirky nature of London so one Sunday after waving a fellow
Blogger off at Paddington station where I ran into a certain famous bear and then got lost. I ended up on the wrong tube and at the completely station several stops later I ended up thankfully back at St Pancras.
Back at St Pancras I saw this , I think it's been there ages I think I have had mind fog when I've been to Lonon previously.
It just shows you that just once or twice look up and see what you can see.
that is always my illogocal fear if boarding a train, that I will end up somewhere other than where i want to be, totally lost. Nice pictures.
ReplyDeleteI've got on the wrong train so many times before. :-/ I love the Paddington bear shop, everything except the prices!!!! And those glass floor tiles. Scary standing on them, then realising your on GLASS above the underground station esculator.
ReplyDeleteI do love the shop ! yes you are right the prices are high !
DeleteAhh look at Paddington.
ReplyDeleteMy Dad has a photo of that statue, he took it as he was passing through to Switzerland I think it was, I never guessed it had been taken in London.
This is one of the things I love about London. You can be walking down a street you have walked down for weeks and sometimes you spot something, like a statue or something that is part of a festival and it is so great.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, I really love the kissing statue :)
ReplyDeleteI adore all the art we have in London and the fact that you can not see it all first time.
ReplyDeleteSt.Pancreas is a beautiful station - sadly that isn't where we come into London.

ReplyDeleteYes I love all the statues at St Pancras, it's such a lovely space....although being lost isn't fun!!
ReplyDeleteMost of the London stations have their own unique identity if you bother to slow down long enough to look for it. I love London when you have the time to slow down.
ReplyDeleteSt Pancras is one of my favourite Stations to look at. There are so many interesting nooks and crannies
ReplyDeleteOoh that statue of the couple is just stunning isnt it! And I love paddington!
