Mighty Walkers Lights Packing A Lunchtime Punch

It is hard not to accept the opportunity to review crisps despite me and my family watching what we eat . We do stil need the occasional treat after all life is very dull with such luxuries!  We are always careful balance what we eat and make sure we have lots of exercise. Walkers have yet again brought out a new range of crisps aimed at a young market with a cheerful character on the packet.

While some do not like the thought of including a packet of crisps with their child's pack lunch , who says that you have to give them a whole packet a day. You could spread it out depending on the each of the child over say two or three days, making sure you seal the packet with the remaining crisps afterwards. Though having said that you might be tempted to nibble on them your selves just before you embark on tidying the house up after getting back from the school run  or perhaps at work etc.

There are many social situations that crisp bring people together from pack lunches, to family occasions, picnics, cinema trips, walks, beach days to fun filled filled days to just chilling days.

New Walkers lights are ridged crisps that have 30 % less fat in them with no artificial colours or preservatives. There is a choice of three flavours and these are Cheese and Onion, Lightly Salted and Roast Chicken. All of the flavours are suitable for vegetarians to eat but they are not gluten free, not of the crisps contain nuts or sesame seeds and Walkers do not handle nuts or sesame seeds in their factories either.

We had our crisps with a salted peach salad which you can read about here, I have reviewed Walkers crisps before which you can read about here. But why just have your crisps whole why not add those little bits you always get at the bottom of packets to some cheese with you are cooking Shepherds Pie. Just make sure you crush them up before adding them to the cheese.

Or you could use them in topping on a nice piece of fish , what you do with them very much depends or your flavour of the crisps that you have to work with . You could go all retro and have them in a crisp sandwich the champion of all sandwiches.

Where can you buy Walkers Mighty Lights from I hear you cry ? Why from any good supermarket !

Disclosure This is a sponsored post I have not been told what to write about all thoughts word and opinions are my own.
