Degustabox March Delivery Review

I was given the chance to try out out a new monthly food box subscription service, Degustabox. Each box costs £9.99 + £3 delivery, their promise is that the value of the items contained within will always be worth more.
You will receive a recipe card with each one to give you some ideas but I do like to make up my own recipes as well.

Chai Latte is the newest addition to the Chai range and it is a unique blend of rich cocoa with warm spices, just add water or steamed milk for best results. Available from Waitrose

My verdict a big thumbs up for this The aromatic bouquet  might not be to very ones senses  its smell quite spicy but as it is combined with chocolate it takes the boredom factor away from your run of the mill hot chocolate. Also it can be used in lattes and in buttercream frosting so it is a adaptable product.

Tea Latte: is a brand new product from DRINK ME an infusion of delicate Earl Grey with a frothy milk for a totally different but delicious hot beverage. Available in 20g sachets from Waitrose and Sainsburys. £6.50 for a multipack.

My verdict was that the Drink me was very sweet and wasn't my cup of tea it was to sweet for my liking , probably best suited to a lover of Earl Grey of which I am not a natural fan.

MOMA! Porridge - Two handy pots of instant porridge in Cranberry And Raisin, and Plain - No Added Sugar, varieties. My husband loves porridge and these pots have encouraged my son to try porridge which is brilliant breakthrough after eating only one type of cereal before. Started from filing station Waterloo Station, these porridge pots are now available in Waitrose and Sainsbury's.

My verdict I enjoyed Cranberry and Apple one it was very fruity and satisfied me all the way through to lunchtime. Mr T however didn't like the plain one but then again when he tried it he was suffering from man flu and basically the whole world had ended.

Schwartz Flavour Shots - A clever little idea and a new product - flavour shots  contains blends, spices and seasonings infused in oil to give you amazing tasting meals for use in cooking in Spanish Paella and Creamy Herb Tagliatelle. £1.40 each

My verdict I liked these though my ladle did get stained my fault for leaving in in the pot ! but these shots can be used to flavour other dishes so you aren't just confirmed to what it says on the shot.

Mexican Dave's Nacho Cheese Tortilla Chips  - Made me want to go get my sombre and poncho on eating these ! Available  in Nisa, Iceland , Poundstrecher and many independents nationally. £1.00

My verdict a big big Mexican smiley moustache on this one SO tasty "more please" said in a Mexican voice but instead of a begging bowl holding a sombero instead !

Organico Durum Wheat Pasta - A Organico product, brown penne pasta made with 100% durum wheat. £1.49

Organico Tomato and Basil - Tomato pasta sauces are the one staple item I always ensure I have in so couldn't wait to try  this Organico sauce, which comes from the 'La Marche region's pineering organic co-operative and produced in keeping with 'Slow Food' movement. £1.99

My verdict the pasta had a wholesome earthy quality to it and combined with the sauce it was a classic dish and a lovely way to bring the family together.

Shaken Udder Milkshakes - The flavours I received were Strawberry, Banana, and Chocolate. Who doesn't love a milkshake , they're ideal for lunch boxes and can be frozen to keep the lunch cool. The milkshakes  only natural ingredients. They are made with real fruit or Belgian chocolate and blended with fresh British milk without any nasties such as artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Also included in March Degustabox also includes two vouchers for free packs of Shaken Udder Milkshakes from Tesco.

My verdict we all really enjoyed these as a family , the taste was just how you remember milkshakes as a kid, unless you are a kid in that case this is how milkshakes should be for the rest of your life.

Tyrrell's Proper Popcorn - Tyrrell's Proper Popcorn is made from Weaver Gold corn kernels and all popped at Tyrrells Court Farm in Hertforshire.

My verdict is Sweet & Salty popcorn is already a product I have discovered only recently. I was disappointed that is was only a small bad from a multipack , a sharing bag would have been ideal , as you can;t have movie pop corn night with a small bag !
