These pictures are from a quick whirlwind visit to Scarbrough which I would love to go back and visit at a more leisurely pace.
And then I'll storm along the beach and even take my socks and shoes off.
2. Think about your budget and wether you wish for meals to be included or eating out cheaply. Also think about what type of accommodation you want that will have a bearing on your budget.
3. The obvious staying at home : the staycation exploring what is on your doorstep half the time you'll be amazed.
4. Be adventurous I would love to go on a narrow boat or stay in a castle or go glamping and toast marshmallows on a fire.
5. Think about what is happening in the season you wish to go , the Uk is amazing at any time of the year.
we got and visit son No1 once a fortnight and have had a look round some of the places near by, sadly as we can only visit at set times then we get chance for a little look around but never long enough. Need to book a few days in the area and appreciate all that is there, cept oh fancies "a whole day" at Stirling Castle and I will be bored after an hour....hmmm need to compromise somewhere. Sadly no control over the weather but I only ever holiday in the Uk, and usually Scotland
ReplyDeleteWe are planning a trip to Longleat Safari park with our family! There are definitely a lot of places to visit in England, especially with it's amazing history. The only problem would be the British weather! So fingers crossed it'll be a sunny breezy day for everyone :)
