Slow slow quick quick slow.
What ever happened to slow blogging ? As in you don't have to run with the Joneses but then again they'll have that angle nailed and Google + and Instagram and vlogged it too.
And we are all finding our way in life and I certainly am.
Life's busy and I'm merely here for a short mortal time but hell I'm going to shake it up and leave it spinning on its axis.
It's hard if I'm honest to deal with things at times without some folk thinking you're playing the victim or acting out a scene from a soap opera. How I write is how I deal with what's thrown at me and I'm certainly not going to stop , there's a new positivity in my writing , if I get sad then I balance with what I'll be doing soon for example I've been Berlin and I've drunk tea.
Tea and adventure.
How amazing is that.
In my 99p sink I've sown some nasturtiums that were given to me as part of a Springtime Project by Capture by Lucy. #springtimesurpriseproject
The surprise package didn't come from Lucy but from Jenni from GingerBisquiste.
Tea and adventure is where I'm at.
Tea is the only thing you should stir up not life and blogging ......
Tea is the only thing you should stir up not life and blogging ......
Well mostly that ..... maybe ... but if you do kindness and respect of feelings always.
I so feel the need to force myself to have a slow pace, and not worry about stats and traffic. Sometimes I feel I don't have time to breathe! Lovely can't wait to see these bloom xx
ReplyDeleteLove this idea. I don't blog sometimes when I need to, because I don't want to be seen the martyr, but I started the blog to release feelings that now I contain for fear of judgement. Hmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteLoving your sink. I'm all for tea and adventure and lots of it.
ReplyDeleteI hear you hun, sometimes I just want everything to slow down. I really, really need to get away from it all. x
ReplyDeleteI sometimes wonder what we're all doing manically running around "spreading" our blogs and wish I could step off the conveyor belt, but then I pull myself together and play the game!! Coffee and adventure for me...!!
ReplyDeleteI've had a bit of a blogging break since before xmas and now I'm back full throttle. I sometimes need a break for a few months because I simply struggle to find the time x
ReplyDeleteI blog most days but this is now how I earn a living so I need to.
ReplyDeleteTea and adventure, what could be better?
ReplyDeleteYour sink looks lovely with those purple flowers in! I don't think anyone should feel pressure to do anything its our life we should live it at a pace we wish :) x
ReplyDeleteyour sink and flowers are lovely! Life is so short, enjoy every minute x
ReplyDeleteGreat post, I particularly love the recurring tea theme. I have recently discovered Marquis of Grey tea in Waitrose, it's my new favourite.x
ReplyDeleteDid you say tea? Can I have some please ohh I do love a good cup of tea (it also seems to distract me from anything else) x
ReplyDeleteIt's great to slow down sometimes and take stock of everything but I also believe in this quote from The Shawshank Redemption "Get busy living, or get busy dying"
ReplyDeleteIt's so easy to get caught up in it all and forget the slow, carefree days when you didn't know anything about stats or rankings
ReplyDeleteaww fab post Claire, heres to slow blogging and finding ourselves! ;-) xx
ReplyDeleteI blog when I want to and pretty much always have. Love the sink. it will look amazing in full bloom
ReplyDeleteI blog when I am in the mood, which often means writing 3-4 posts in one go x
ReplyDeleteI really need to slow down and relax rather than pick up my laptop. Did that last night and it was lovely to just chill in front of the TV
ReplyDeleteI have become obsessed, and I know it! I think a little trip might help me out too! Lovely post as always
