And because I have a son at university it means the extra I make I can freeze for another time for myself and my husband to eat.Having a pressure cooker is definitely good for the household budget which is just as well with having to help the teen out with university, university costs are just ricidulous but that a whole blog post in itself.

  17. I've heard you can make all sorts of food in these but probably my first would be the old favorite, beef stew and dumplings. At the moment I make it in my ancient stove top pressure cooker, but I'm convinced that one day soon it's going to decorate the kitchen ceiling.

  45. Wow - never thought about risotto! Love to do beef stroganoff in my 'old faithful' stovetop pressure cooker but it's like Russian roulette as to being cooked well or burnt to a cinder (when you're all hungry and it's too late to save)! Didn't know electronic ones existed!!!

I've always loved my friends lamb curry she makes in her pressure cooker, it fabulous for those cold winter evenings..It certainly warms you up & i love the way she pops the lamb, potatoes, and seasoned broth in altogether to create something so delicious that will warm every part of you up! lol Fabulous giveaway to,thank you ever so much

  75. Pulled pork! I always do mine in my slow cooker, which is lovely, but you really do have to plan ahead. There's an lovely lady I follow on Instagram who always does hers in her pressure cooker, and I'm so jealous that she can make it for dinner after only buying the pork mid-afternoon!

  92. I have never used a pressure cooker before. I remember,as a child, watching my Mother use an old pressure cooker. It was hissing away with that thing wobbling on the top lid. It scared me somewhat,until my Mum took it off the heat and accidentaly removed that wobbly weight thingy, only for the dinner to be released spectacularly through the tiny lid valve, to hit the ceiling above. That orange stain stayed on that ceiling for ages, as a reminder, to me, of the sheer power of that beast. Your great prize looks so user friendly ,if I win ,I will embrace it....the pulled pork looks so scrummy too
