The Beauty Of A Real Christmas Tree From Christmas Forest

We haven’t had a real Christmas tree for years and we have had ‘gasp ‘ fake Christmas trees including pop up trees but I was offered the opportunity to have a real six foot Christmas tree. But having a 6ft you’d think would make Mr T say “ what on Earth have you agreed to now ?” but luckily he was very cool about it and he actually decorated the downstairs and we had a move round of furniture to accommodate the tree .The Christmas tree came complete with a tree stand where you keep your tree topped up with water.

How exactly do you decorate a larger tree and I think the answer is however you like really! We went for in your face baubles and 500 lights but no tinsel and the tree was topped off with a star. Delivery was seamless and even though I wasn’t in the tree was carefully placed behind my gate.Mr T followed the instructions on the Christmas tree stand and trimmed a bit off and then placed in it the stand and made sure it was safely held with the supplied bolts.

I am so pleased how it has filled the space it has made so a lovely addition to my home for the Christmas season and it was lovely decorated by my husband and son as soon as we got our son home from University and he had raided the fridge.

Christmas is so a magical time of the year and we do so love Christmas and Christmas has always been a busy time for my husband as he is one of seven and the youngest so Christmas was always an hectic but fun time for him.

The great thing about having a Christmas tree delivered is that we didn't have to wrestle it into the car and this time of year it is usual chock full of university gear from our journeys to and from to our son who is at university at York.

When it arrived Mr T did ask if I was going to out the tree up and I said well first I needed to saw some of the trunk off the bottom and this resulted in Mr T doing it himself, I don't think he trusted me with a saw ! He did all this before his works night , we left it in the holder but decorating it on the Sunday.

It isn't Christmas with a snowman and how jolly he is !

I would saw with a real tree it is far easier to put the tree in the holder then take off the tree that holds it then do it all before and do make sure that you top up the tree with water after you're finally happy with its position as it is a lot hard to move a tree round if the stand is full of water.

Do you have a star or an Angel on your Christmas tree or perhaps something else ?

Do you have a Christmas style or are you just throw it all together and just enjoy the moment of the decorating ( perhaps going back in after to organise it all to your standards ) I must admit to the odd tweak over out Christmas decorations on the tree !

So thank you to the Christmas Forest for the lovely review tree we love it as a family and the cat hasn't once tried to scale it PS have you seen the cat ?

Disclosure I was sent the Christmas tree and stand for review , I brought the lights and decorations myself.

Photos by Mr T thank you ps he works for peanuts .
