Now the other day My family and myself went to see Shrek, which has to be said was a lot better than I thought it was going to be and was indeed highly entertaining. Such as the film the humour is on two levels one for the children and then of course one for the adults. Now you know there is going to be certain type of humour.
I am always open minded to anything within the realms of decency. This had to be said the reference to Bi Polar made be feel uncomfortable but that due to the fact that I grew up with a Bi Polar mother and such things open wounds for me to some extent.
So are such jokes acceptable in your opinion ?

Seriously worried about Ricky Jervais last night when I caught a glimpse of his new show 'Derek'. Is that meant to be funny? Everyone needs to be able to laugh at themselves, but WTF?!

I like to stay open minded about such humour but some comedians have gone too far and insulted disabled people. This is totally unacceptable. It isn't funny or clever, it's just distasteful and disrespectful. I do try to laugh some of the jokes off because as you know I live with 2 disabilities every day, epilepsy and autism, and life is much too short to worry about ignorant members of society making fun of disabled people.
