When Claire suggested we write about favourite places, I thought long and hard. What sort of places did I like to go that were different from what she might see in England? The answer was simple, the beach!
We've lived close to the beach for a long time, but having our own business and young children meant we forgot it was there.
The sun beats down, the waves crash, there's no phone signal, I can hear the kids laughing and playing with dad.

ReplyDeleteI used to live quite near a beach but like you, life just gets in the way sometimes and I used to forget it was there. It was always special when we used to have a day out there though! You have taken some lovely photos. Paddling is always fun!

ReplyDeleteA day on the beach with kids is perfect. It looks like a beautiful clean and sandy beach too. We don't live near the sea but I am hoping to make some trips in our Summer for beach time.
ReplyDeleteSo lucky to live near a beach :) It takes us about an hour to drive to our coast so not too bad but we never seem to find time to go. We hope to go more this summer though :)
